30 Days of Grateful Praise:: Being Small

30days

So far I’m two for two on following through with the challenge. How about you?

And today I’m grateful for being small. For living in a small town. For my small house. For favoring small stores (seriously my mama and I ventured into the Wal-Mart this past weekend and I finally realized it’s just too darn big for me… )

Maybe I’m just made for small. For having a small reach.

And I’d much rather sit here with you over a cup of coffee and a bowl of oatmeal with lots of fruit and nuts (this is one food find I’m grateful I found this week as well! Who knew??) and chat heart to heart about what we’re praising God for today.

Maybe small is the new big.

If you think you’re too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito. ~ Dalai Lama

And maybe just being faithful in the small is what it’s all about. Sometimes it’s the small things that have the greatest impact.

I looked out this morning and saw these three small babies on the porch… And nope your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you they are little kitten carbon copies of their mama… Small but full of life.

Your turn to weigh in… what little things are you praising God for today?

Praising God for his BIG and massive love and grace we receive daily. You are right, small I think is the new big. We need to be grateful for our lives whether big or small. We need to see God in everything we do.

Small is the new big?! Love it! And I’m wondering — are you offering a home to any of those kittens on your doorstep?! And by the way, I’d rather sit with a friend over a cup of coffee any day over any number of activities that sound better and bigger! 🙂 Here’s to doing that with you soon! xo

Interesting you should ask… the husband is advocating for them to find a home other than our porch!! I see his point…cats lead to more cats…but they are so stinkin’ cute…! And yes, crowds make me sweaty… one on one is more my jam 🙂 Looking so forward to sharing real “face time” with you girl! ♥
