Life is sometimes prickly and full of thorns…

But usually where you find thorns, you also find roses – incredible instances of beauty at the end of a long thorny stem…

Harsh words or situations can be thorns. Dissatisfaction and difficulties in jobs, relationships, homes… all can be thorns in our life.

But we can rise above. We can continue to seek the beauty we know is one the other side. When we set our minds and hearts on God and what he has for us, when we keep looking up, when we keep seeking His will, he gives us wings and mercies to survive the thorns….to rise above them.

I hope this little bird reminds you to stay light and above the thorns…
