Springing Forward with Hope

I think I’ve finally recovered from the weekend, how about you? The whole Spring Forward thing messes with me for a few days, but I think I’m good to go now.

We had a busy/restful/productive sort of weekend this go around. No watery surprises like this to contend with. Instead I had a little change in scenery. And you all know how a change in location does wonders for your perspective and can sometimes shift your whole mood..!

First I started with this on Friday afternoon:

...springing it forward with a new do...
…springing it forward with a new do…

Then I grabbed my best girl on Saturday and we made a run for Farmville, VA… When 60 degree weather strikes after a week of snow, sleet and non-descriptive winter blahs, you just have to seize the moment..!

...bye honey we'll be back, we promise...
…bye honey we’ll be back, we promise…

It was a beautiful and much needed girl’s day.

It’s nice when your husband says get out and he’s referring to a trip like this…

...little old people holding hands and other sweet sights... sadly the junk shop at the bottom was closed...wonder what happened to old Jack...?
…little old people holding hands and other sweet sights… sadly the junk shop at the bottom was closed…but not all was lost…

We had some awesome cheesecake,  sauntered the streets, took in the shops and discovered hidden treasure here:

...this was only 1/4 of it...kid you not... definitely worth the drive...
Mottley Emporium- Farmville, VA…this does not even begin to scratch the surface… definitely worth the drive for the most organized display of domesticated junk  I have ever seen… {what’s “domesticated junk” you ask? Stay tuned this week to find out…!}

Oh the possibilities…! Not only did a change in location for a day alter our perspectives, but we now have a little extra daylight left at the end of the day to capitalize on…

Spring = H♥pe.

Out of clutter, find simplicity. From discord, find harmony. In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity. ~ Albert Einstein

What’s possible for you this Spring?
