So, I’m jumping on the bandwagon today with Flower Patch Farmgirl and getting my Christmas on… In order to know where you’re going you have to understand where you’ve been right? So in that spirit I give you every incarnation of my Christmas tree from 2006 until last year… except for 2007– we’ll just call that the lost year…
You are welcome.
Christmas at the rental…2006… I don’t know what was happening with the ribbon… I apologize…
…the original Christmas grumpy cat… Seriously I used this as my Christmas card that year…
The 2007 tree is officially MIA but here’s the 2008 version! Woodland glam? I dunno but looking back it seems kind of sparse…
2009… I went a lil avant-garde with my photography skills …
2010… not a bad year… Thankfully I learned how to use ribbon to my advantage…
2011… the year of two trees… I must have been feelin’ froggy that year… And yes, the little tree on the right does have lean to it…it’s not just your eyes…
2012… the year I finally outsmarted the cats by foregoing the big tree… Also Mary and Joseph took their rightful place front and center with baby Jesus…
Annnnd 2013…

I’m still debating this year’s tree, but after going through the pictures today I’m leaning towards some kind of combo between 2010’s colors and 2013’s size… I also really liked 2010’s garland… soooo…
What kind of tree do you guys have? Real? Faux? Big? Small? Do tell!
This gal has a super cute little fashion forward tree… My wheels are turning! How about yours??
Have a terrific Thursday y’all!

That is funny about our blog post titles lining up right after each other! 🙂 You made me laugh with the comment about your first tree’s ribbon. We are real tree people, but that is my husband’s call. I find that if you aren’t a real tree person, you don’t really care either way…this year we got a little bit overzealous at ACE Hardware and came home with a tree that’s a bit too fat for its space. But it’s still pretty, and it’s only for a month!
