Wacky Wednesday

I’m feeling kind of outta sorts this week… maybe it’s the heat or the lack of cooking a real meal.. (do peanut butter cookies count?) When the boy is away at camp, those left behind make do with leftovers and salads. Or maybe it’s because the window AC is doing it’s drippy thing…on the inside of the window vs. the proper drain hole out of the back…thank goodness for towels… minor surgery to follow this evening because it’s always easier to take corrective action when it’s light outside…

In the spirit of this randomness I give you this mainly pictorial report from the past week away from the ‘ol blog…stick with me til the end and I promise there’s something good…

Seen on a truck at the grocery store last Wednesday…

Even though I may feel it some days, I’m not sure that’s the picture I would want to paint on my license plate…

Next up is a video sampling (i hope this works….cross your fingers y’all) on what we did on the 4th… I can’t show you the spiced shrimp, chicken, crab legs, burgers, salsa, hot dogs, BBQ, chicken, salsa, and dirt cake … because I ate.it.all.. ok I just felt like I ate it all- I didn’t, crab legs really aren’t my thing- but it took me all weekend to recover!
