I love a good HGTV before and after show. I even fancied myself a DIYer long before the network started when I bought my own fixer upper as a newly divorced gal and ambitiously decided to rip out all the carpet, paint all the rooms and redo the bathroom.
All pretty much with my own two hands.
But the renovation that has made the most impact is the one I’ve done on my own mind through the help of thought work and a mentor.
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
Romans 12:2
The Greek word for renewing is “anakainosis” and it means a makeover of the mind and soul. This means transformation occurs when our mind undergoes a renovation.

C.S. Lewis puts it this way: “Imagine yourself as a living house. God comes in to rebuild that house. At first, perhaps, you can understand what He is doing. He is getting the drains right and stopping the leaks in the roof and so on; you knew that those jobs needed doing and so you are not surprised. But presently He starts knocking the house about in a way that hurts abominably and does not seem to make any sense. What on earth is He up to? The explanation is that He is building quite a different house from the one you thought of – throwing out a new wing here, putting on an extra floor there, running up towers, making courtyards. You thought you were being made into a decent little cottage: but He is building a palace. He intends to come and live in it Himself.”
The best makeovers happen from the inside out. Taking our thoughts captive is how we start.
All this and so much more became so tangible to me through coaching and I’m here to offer the same invitation for transformation to you.

Friend, thoughts become things.
Or to put it another way, “As a man thinks, so is he” – Proverbs 23:7
God created the world by speaking and because we are made in His image, His handiwork recreated in Christ Jesus, we have divine threads of the same power.
The power to think and then speak things into existence.
Thoughts create feelings….which create actions… which reinforce thoughts and then the cycle spins on and on… for better or for worse.
So, what kind of house are you creating for yourself?

Do you feel stuck where you are in life? Your environment? Your career? I can help you unlock so many possibilities in your mind and space.
If you’re ready to make room in your heart and home for what matters I’d love to coach you.

Learning and growing are essential to an abundant life.
Here are just a few lessons I’ve learned to let transform me and if you’re ready, I’d love to share all the details of how the same can be true for you…
*I don’t have to continue believing stories that aren’t serving me. My past is in the past and I have the ability to rewrite it and find all the good instead of the bad!
*I can redeem my time and energy by creating nourishing habits and rhythms for my day.
*I don’t have to be a victim to my circumstances, other people or my schedule!
*I can allow my emotions to come and process them instead of eating my feelings or looking to others to ‘make’ me feel better.
