It’s a pleasure to meet you! Arranging furniture, brainstorming ideas for improved function and flow and creating a cozy atmosphere are where it’s at for me and I’m blessed to serve my people in those ways. Ever since getting a degree in Architectural and Industrial design 20+ years ago, “playing house” in various capacities has been my favorite thing to do. I love helping you get unstuck and create interiors that tell a good story- your story!

When I’m not making up mood boards, space plans and design concepts for my precious clients, you can catch up with me at antique malls, church or on my evening walks. My brain is always in gear working out the details for (or working on) my next home project, restyling my vintage booth, sewing or reupholstering something. I have a husband, son & daughter-in-law who constantly have to entice me to slow down with good music, Mexican food and my favorite 1930’s Thin Man movies!

One Room Virtual Redesign

Ideal if you need a new perspective on refreshing a tricky room using furniture and decor you already have. You provides pictures and basic measurements of the furniture and existing room.

Designer provides:

Virtual Discovery Call to talk about your needs and preferences
Emailed project instructions and 2D floor plan using your existing furniture
Inspiration, encouragement and suggestions of colors and additional pieces to shop your house for to complete your redesigned room

In person Designer for a Day

(available to Goochland, Powhatan, Henrico and Hanover, Virginia only)

It’s my pleasure to be your creative companion. This in-home design consultation package provides inspiration and encouragement while working alongside you to redesign or organize your home to serve you, your family & guests. Pick my brain as we brainstorm finishes, color palettes and styles. Consulting on space planning and additional pieces needed to complete your redesigned rooms. Can include hands on services such as organizing, furniture moving (up to 100lbs), hanging art & accessorizing. Includes style survey and follow up email with notes from our session.

This lets me do what I do best- creatively problem solve, design functional, beautiful plans for you to implement and curate the best sources for your furnishings within your budget.

Because of my background as a coach and designer I can’t help but see how the transformation of both our internal and external worlds- heart and home- overlap and overflow into each other.

How will I provide measurements and pictures of my room? You will be provided with a link to a shared google drive folder where you can upload your room sketches with measurements and photos for your project. Instructions and examples will be provided at the start of your design project.
