Ever since I was a little girl crafting Christmas light bulb earrings to sell and a teenager rearranging my furniture, I’ve been all about arranging, brainstorming beauty and creating connection. In the adult world, those talents translated (maybe not exactly) to a degree in Architectural and Industrial Design and working with drawings in the design fields for over 20 years.
Fast forward to the internet age and I added self taught manager of creative content for various blogs and ministry websites to my resume. But the call to create never really died so quietly in the cracks and crevices of time, I honed my creative entrepreneur skills by setting up shop at craft fairs around Virginia. After a while, I gave up the nomad show life and settled in as a booth keeper at the Vintage Antique Shack in Powhatan, VA. Recollected Design started and will remain (for now…) a handpicked, one of a kind shopping experience with unique vintage finds from yesterday and recreated items of today.
But it’s taken on a whole new dimension since I most recently became a certified Life Mentoring School Coach. Through coaching, my passion for design has come full circle as I get to encourage, accompany and help you brainstorm beauty and goodness and all that could be in your heart and home. It’s my joy to help you make room in your mind and space and remember what matters most.

Hey Sue! If you signed up to receive just the email notifications to your inbox, then no– so don’t fret you haven’t misplaced anything.
If you signed up for the newsletter through the “sign up to start receiving more love…” link on the about page or on the sidebar where it says newsletter it should have prompted the “mail chimp” to send you the confirmation emails to be added to the newsletter mailing list complete with pdf link to printable cards ♥ If you did enter your precious email already for the newsletter and cards, I’m much obliged and perhaps check your spam folder just in case the right emails didn’t pop through to your inbox? Any other questions, please don’t hesitate to give a shout
: ) And thanks again ♥
